Fourth edition, stated. 406 pp. 12mo format in half-leather binding with four raised bands, gilt titles, marbled boards and endpapers, ribbon marker. Text is in French. Firm binding, all original with no repairs. Neat owner's name dated 1933. Boards worn to edges, leather is bright and unworn, contents not overly worn, etc. A bit of foxing to preliminary leaves and last few in book. An attractive, very well-preserved copy. Very Good.

The Book of Common Prayer and Hymns Ancient and Modern. 2 Miniature Volumes, in Leather Slipcase
Oxford & London, OUP & William Clowes, 1850. Full-Leather. No date, but assumed mid-19th century. Each book is about 4" by 2 1/2", in full black leather with gilt spine titles and blindstamped crucifix on the front panel. Hymns volume: pp. 347, Common Prayer not paginated. The original box is lined in striped silk. All appears to be original withour repair or alternation. The two books are internally Nearly Fine, possibly never really read, however there are a few turned page corners. The leather bindings and box are in Very Good condition, solid and square, with light rubbing and minor scuffing along the edges of the box. Overall a very attractive minature set. Very Good.

Book appears to be all original, even the endpapers, with no apparent repair. Contents are fresh and untorn, hinges firm. The paper-covered boards are worn at extremities, as expected. A very attractive original copy of this very rare children's book. Good.

A firmly bound copy, all original with no repairs. The front tips are worn, but not bad. The green cloth a is a bit rubbed. The backstrip is starting to split a bit on one side, about 3", but not at risk of coming loose. There is only one spine label present; we are not certain if there were more originally. Internally there are no tears, no owner's names or markings to the text. The maps are Very Good with light wear. A very presentable copy of this rare item. We have 3 other volumes from this series. Good.
